RegCure PC Optimizer is advertised as being packed with all sorts of neat features and options, and we must say that it really lives up to the expectations those ads generate - the program is very flexible, it was easy to tell that it really did have anything you'd expect from such a piece of software. It has the ability to automatically repair any errors found without user intervention, additionally creating a restore point beforehand, in case something goes wrong in the process. That was very well-though out, in our opinion, and is a definite plus.

The program also gives you the option to backup and restore your system registry with ease, in case you need an older version of it at some point. To top it all off, you can even use the built-in scheduler, to set up everything to be performed at a specific time, even optionally shutting down your computer in the end! It really takes all the hard work out of maintaining your computer.


Interface:
In this department, RegCure is an absolute winner. It has a very polished interface, giving you no trouble navigating it. It was very intuitive to get from one part of the menus to another. The program's navigation is outstanding, especially compared to most competitive programs in this branch, which have a tendency to load their menus with redundant options and obscure navigation systems, meant for advanced users. On top of that, it's also very nice visually.

Ease of Use:
Like our comments on the interface may suggest, navigating through RegCure's menus and making use of its wide array of options was really easy - it's obvious the designers have really put a lot of effort into making this program accessible to the everyday PC user.


Safety:
The program uses a fairly good scanning engine, though we found newer technology in some competitors' products, like Ultra Optimizer. Thus, we feel that the engine could use a bit of updating, to bring it on par with competition. Still, it performed remarkably well during our test, and managed to find 523 errors on the system we tested it on.

One thing we noticed, however, was the lack of detailed info on the errors found - the program just gives a vague description of the error and proposals on how to fix it, but if you need a more detailed explanation on the causes and effects of a certain error, you'll have to do your own research.


Helpdesk/support:
The developers offer online support, which was very responsive and informative, and provided excellent solutions to whatever problems we managed to pose to them. They attempt to tone their replies in a relation to your level of expertise, so beginner users should have no problem communicating with the support staff to get their issues resolved quickly and painlessly.

Conclusion:

Overall, this is a very good program, worth its price, with outstanding visuals and easy to use by users with any level of experience. While it may not be as good as Ultra Optimizer, it's still a top choice and we highly recommend it.
